EFEC is engaging with partners in Shanghai to develop services to help UK Life Sciences companies access markets, investors and business partners in China.
This sphere of the economy is international in its outlook – remedies for human health are global. So, a good fit with the EFEC outlook.
Establishing a proper and meaningful Sino-UK partnership will take time to build. We have achieved some initial results in the UK, established connections with some influential innovation center institutions in the life sciences field, and created strategic partnerships to empower the development of the networks they serve.
The EFEC team is also gradually growing, and we have carefully selected some colleagues with relevant professional knowledge and experience in the life sciences industry to join our cause.
And we are delighted that Dr Tony Flint is joining the EFEC team. Tony has worked in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industry for 32 years with a broad experience in research and development, manufacturing, supply chain, clinical trials, regulatory affairs and quality assurance.
Tony is very well connected to many aspects of the Life Sciences industry and has the expertise and experience to focus the thinking of the team in market demand.
We are clear that our current work is focused on British companies seeking investment and joint ventures to enter the Chinese market, understanding their pain points and needs, and providing suggestions and implementation plans for their overseas development.
We look forward to the successful completion of market research and project planning by the project team, guided by Dr. Flint, which will provide a solid foundation for the next stage of strategic development.
