The company’s business development follows four principles:
- Organic cooperation based on a more meaningful and diverse system
- Successful partnerships based on trust and shared values
- Continuous learning and development to achieve value-added by partners
- Define our leadership and support approach with equality, diversity, and inclusion.
Based on the above four principles, EFEC has three main business sectors:
- Education and Training – More than 18 years of experience in curriculum creation, leadership/teacher training and skills certification support;
- Business innovation – establish active partner network resources and sufficient innovation support with enterprises, universities, R&D institutions and training institutions;
- Talent cultivation-support personal learning and development and help young people achieve a smooth transition from campus to workplace.
Over the past eighteen years, EFEC has been deeply involved in the Chinese and British education and training markets, linking talent training and industry needs through resources, technology and management, and has been well received by domestic and foreign experts and customers.
In 2024, EFEC’s major innovation is the GoalsN2Goals football programme to help the cooperation and development of football education between China and the UK and work together to create brilliance on the football field.
Football is the world’s most popular sport, with millions of participants and billions of viewers. China has a huge player and fan base and has high ambitions for the national team to achieve great results in the future.
The GoalsN2Goals program aims to shape future football talents and industry service talents. The customised products cover:
- Training Camps: Open to children of all ability levels, covering all styles of professional football experience.
- Coaching Education: Provide training for coaches of existing teams (school teams or clubs) to improve the team’s overall coordination, strengthen technical and tactical qualities (defence, midfielder, forward), and enhance understanding between teams.
The program also offers courses such as “Marginal Gains Seminar” (a seminar that combines practice and theory to improve the fundamentals of players’ skills) and “Sport Psychology” and “Strength and Conditioning”.
- Football Business: Create a professional organisation with financial sustainable development capabilities for all football clubs, football schools and youth training camps. The “GoalsN2Goals” program provides a series of seminars aimed at improving students’ knowledge and understanding of football academies, schools or club operations, and helping to create a professional football management system.
EFEC’s Football Director Jason Stephens brings in his rich experience of work including international strategic consulting, coach training course system construction, and FIFA coach certification course teaching – experiences gained through working with the likes of Manchester United Foundation, AC Milan (advised on strategy), Inter Milan, Benfica, West Ham and Sao Paulo.
Jason is working very closely with EFEC founder Paul Beashel. Paul has many years of experience in leadership, training and teaching material creation in both education and sport. He has led multiple sports projects in cooperation with Chinese schools to achieve fruitful results.
EFEC CEO Lily Lin is currently carrying out commercial promotion activities in China for GoalsN2Goals, holding discussions with leaders of relevant departments and industry peers, to gain an in-depth understanding of the opportunities and challenges of Chinese football, and to jointly provide solutions for Chinese football to go global.
