This week’s Medical Technology UK Show in Coventry featured a great array of Med tech companies and their supply chain companies as well as an informative Learning Programme.
EFEC CSO attended, at the invitation of the Learning Programme director, Costa Philippou.
Costa Philippou先生 – 英国医疗技术展学习项目总监
Learning Programme director, Medical Technology UK Show
We are delighted that Costa is assisting EFEC in supporting our programme helping UK life Sciences companies into China and likewise helping Chinese Life Sciences companies into the UK.
He has a vast wealth of experience in the UK life Sciences industry and is exceptionally well connected to key organisations and individuals within this field.
The exhibition featured many of UK leading companies – over 130 in total, making all sorts of devices and parts and providing all kinds of services for the life sciences industry.
The learning programme was chaired by Professor Tony Young, the National Clinical Lead for Innovation at NHS England and Director of Medical Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Anglia Ruskin University.
The Programme covered many important aspects of the current and future Life Sciences scene in the UK, from funding, sustainability AI to product innovation, devices testing and, of course, regulations.
These are matters of significance to companies seeking to develop into the UK, with the understanding and operating in the regulatory environment being the key to market entry – a point the EFEC Business Innovation team is working with for Chinese companies.
