EFEC is proud to be a Medilink Midlands member and were delighted to participate in the international discovery talks alongside the Medilink Midlands team at the Medical Technology Innovation EXPO @NEC Birmingham.
As Medilink Midlands develops its international work, EFEC is an expert member in China, offering two services – IN2UK and IN2China. These offer UK companies support to enter the Chinese market; and, vice versa, support for Chinese companies to enter the UK market.
Our services are focussed on the ley innovative industries of tomorrow – cleantech and life sciences. And the MTI EXPO was a great event for life sciences.

With over 70 exhibitors and a wide range of inputs from experts, there was a great deal to see, to do and to explore.
The exhibitors included both cutting-edge companies with their innovative new devices and processes as well as an array of important services companies providing support for innovation through regulatory and legal advisory services and through finance, government incentives and product design.
At the centre of the Exhibition Hall, the Medilink Midlands & International stand was a natural focus for many visitors. To make best use of time, Medilink Midlands had organised pre-booked 1-2-1 appointments to allow companies interested in China to meet with EFEC. This proved illuminating and productive with a range of new and exciting partnerships in the pipeline as a result.
